HOW JALEEL WILLIS IS BRINGING A KILLER MENTALITY TO BELLATOR 273 FIGHT

Jaleel “The Realest” Willis is bringing a “kill or be killed” mentality to his welterweight fight against Sabah Homasi this weekend at Bellator 273.  Despite that mindset, Willis tells MILLIONS he’s been working on his stamina and sees the fight going the distance, “I was staying with my rhythm, spending my time staying with exactly what I started trying to come out with…like never getting to the point of winding down.”

Willis enters the fight with 18 pro fights and 15 wins, including five knockouts, but he has less experience than his opponent.  Homasi has a record of 15-10 with ten knockouts and two submissions.  Willis says he’s identified “a lot of holes in his game,” and plans to exploit those weaknesses. “Tackle from all different angles, not only exploit his holes, but exploit new holes in the game that I know is there,” says Willis.

The mixed martial artist from Memphis says he plans to lead the dance from the opening bell until his arm is raised, “expect me to be in this like 15 minutes completely controlling it.”  Willis also says he wants to let himself go, “a lot of people really don’t know how much I can do because they really never just seen me let loose in the cage….kind of do whatever it is I want to do and this time around I believe that’s a lot of what they’re going to see.”

Willis is also thanking MILLIONS for being in his corner ahead of the fight, saying the platform has “made it easier for me to be more like, in contact with our friends and fans… definitely making it a lot easier for me to be more intimate with fans.”
