Canadian boxer Nick Fantauzzi has his 12th professional fight this week and it falls on Cinco de Mayo, that’s Thursday May 5th. It’s a Mexico versus Canada event put on by Lee Baxter Promotions at Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto. Fantauzzi will face Juan Sergio Torres Perez in a light heavyweight bout.
MILLIONS connected with Fantauzzi using the Ask Me Anything feature and he responded with a personal video. We talked about the upcoming fight and his career and we used that video to create the one above.
Here is a transcription of our questions and his answers.
Shane: What do you know about your opponent, Perez?
Nick: Thursday, May 5th , Cinco de Mayo, Lee Baxter Promotions is putting on the show Canada versus Mexico. I’m fighting a guy from Mexico. He’s got 20 professional fights, he’s experienced.
Shane: If you could send a message to him, what would you say?
Nick: He comes to fight. You all know I come to fight. So it's going to be a really good show. I’m looking forward to putting on my best performance yet.
Shane: How many more times could you fight this year and how far off is a title shot?
Nick: I hope to fight two more times this year. At least put me in line for a title shot. Who knows? We’ll see what’s going to happen soon. But I can’t wait for that opportunity.
Shane: What's your experience been like on the MILLIONS platform so far?
Nick: Working with MILLIONS so far has been great. A lot of people think that support all goes to MILLIONS. It’s actually just as lucrative for me as when I do my own merchandise and it’s a lot easier for me, so it’s better through MILLIONS with me. That being said, I love working with MILLIONS. I’m so happy that we have this partnership and looking forward to putting on more great performances together.
