Ryizeemmion “The Humble Beast” Ford is looking to kick off 2022 with a knockout punch this weekend at Gionta Management’s Winter Mayhem pro boxing event at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center. The lightweight fighter is coming off a TKO victory over Carlos Jimenez back in September, and now faces Lonnie Jackson Jr.
It’s a main card fight happening right before the main event, which features Matt Conway fighting Avery Sparrow for the vacant IBA World Super Featherweight Title. It’s among the biggest fights of Ford’s career and his opponent is coming off a loss. If Ford can keep up the momentum he’ll start putting himself in contention for a title.
Ford is getting a lot of support in his hometown of Alliance, Ohio ahead of the fight and he’s been thanking those people on social media. He posted on Facebook saying, “Big s/o to Alex Jones & Janelle Jones for supporting me this fight.. Aj remodeling & restoration
He’ll also be rocking a fresh custom boxing uniform. “Big thanks to my big bro Aaron Harrison for always keep me fresh for every fight” was another Facebook post this week, adding “My guy always gets me right.”
Ford is also feeling in top notch condition and says, “Big S/o to my big bro & strength conditioning coach for always keep me right in camp to prepare for my fights.. this camp was amazing I truly thank you bro Lonnie TK Atkins
Ford is a MILLIONS athlete and you can support him by buying his merchandise.
