The clash is scheduled to take place at UFC Fight Night 234 on January 13 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Nolan enthusiastically confirmed the bout on his social media platforms, aligning with the initial report from Eurosport. Nolan's entry into the UFC comes on the heels of his spectacular first-round knockout victory over Bogdan Grad during Dana White's Contender Series in August. The 23-year-old representative from Team Compton Training Centre has been on a tear, finishing his last four victories with a combination of knockouts and technical knockouts. His opponent, Nikolas Motta, a former Contender Series contender himself, boasts a UFC tenure of 1-2 with one no contest. Motta's most recent appearance at UFC Fight Night 232 ended in controversy when referee Mike Beltran prematurely stopped his bout against Trey Ogden, incorrectly deeming Motta unconscious due to an arm-triangle choke. The decision was subsequently overturned to a no contest. As Nolan steps into the Octagon for his UFC debut, the expectations are high for the undefeated prospect. With his striking prowess and knack for finishing fights, fight fans can anticipate an explosive showcase of talent at UFC Fight Night 234. The matchup adds another layer of excitement to the January fight card, promising an electrifying start to Nolan's UFC journey. Stay tuned for this thrilling encounter between rising stars in the world of MMA.
