Madison Scheer showcased her prowess with five kills, and the team's strong defensive effort resulted in a dominant first set.
In the second set, Auburn faced challenges due to unforced errors, but Zoe Slaughter, along with Paige Thibault, played a crucial role in maintaining their competitive edge. Despite Jackie Barrett's late efforts, Alabama claimed the set, leveling the match.
The third set saw another impressive run initiated by Akasha Anderson's serving, granting Auburn a comfortable lead. Although Alabama made a late comeback attempt, Barrett's exceptional performance sealed the set in Auburn's favor.
